Hidden beneath the vegetation of Brentonico there is the Rio Sorna Canyon!
A place with a naturalistic ecosystem and a unique microclimate, characterized by crystalline waters, waterfalls and gorges with vertical walls dug into the rock by Sorna River which still today completes its cycle to flow into the Adige river.
The Canyon is surrounded by vegetation and can be reached by following the paths and crossing the centuries-old bridges.
Walking along the path of the river at the base of the canyon it is possible to come across the traces that man has left in this place, including the ruins of an ancient coal mine that runs inside the mountains through a system of tunnels carved into the rock and the Devil Bridge.
